LETTERS TO THE REMNANT CHURCH
OVERCOMER
You cannot "see" faith apart from (without) works. In other words, it is impossible to "see" faith (a manifested result) in the natural, UNTIL you are able to look at the "works" that faith has produced. "By works", and only by works, is faith made perfect. Without works then, faith will fall short of perfection, or, in other words, it is useless. So then, decide what your faith is believing God for (believing according to scripture) and then decide what are "the works required," on your part, in order to "perfect" your faith, in the matter. There must be, by definition (of the Word) some type of works to be done by you, so that your "believing faith" can produce the desired scriptural results. Deciding what the "works required" are, and then doing them, would seem to be the most difficult part of the whole thing. Your "works" by your "faith" is evidence that you are an "overcomer," and you must overcome (according to scripture) in order to obtain the promise. If you do not overcome, you do not obtain! Jesus had to overcome in order for him to obtain the promise. What makes you think that YOU will obtain anything, without first overcoming? Being an overcomer does not mean that you have already obtained, rather IT IS WHAT ENABLES YOU TO OBTAIN! Overcoming is the direct result of Life producing "faith" within you. Faith will make you an overcomer. Being an overcomer will "enable" you to do the "required works" needed to bring the "manifested results" that your faith is believing for. First, you must overcome yourself. This happens as a direct result of "faith" in you. Once YOU become an overcomer, then, and only then, can you overcome the situation that your faith is believing for, (the "required works" done). Have you "overcome yourself" yet? If you have not, then you will never overcome the situation! So, can YOUR faith be seen?
